Oxbow Cavy Performance is a high-fiber, alfalfa-based diet fortified with nutrients essential for growing, pregnant and nursing guinea pigs. During these stages of your guinea pigs life, it requires more protein, calcium and energy.

Oxbow Cavy Performance made with Alfalfa hay, Vitamin C and other fortified ingredients provides an optimized balanced protein source, containing the amino acids required for the growth and health of your guinea pig.
Alfalfa hay, a natural forage, provides the fiber necessary to maintain your guinea pigs intestinal health, making Oxbow Cavy Performance the veterinarians number one choice for your growing, pregnant or nursing guinea pig.
Guinea pigs require daily supplementation with Vitamin C. Oxbow Cavy Performance includes Stay C-35, a stabilized form of Vitamin C with a 12 month shelf life. Each 1/8 cup of Oxbow Cavy Performance contains 22 mg. of Vitamin C. To guarantee adequate Vitamin C intake, be sure the animal is eating the amount of Oxbow Cavy Performance listed below. If additional supplementation is needed, provide Natural Science Vitamin C 60 ct (Oxbow).
Although Oxbow Cavy Performance is an excellent complete feed for growing, pregnant and nursing guinea pigs, unlimited access to fresh grass hay should also be provided. Choose from Oxbows variety of grass hays (Western Timothy, Orchard Grass, and Oat) to provide a selection of different tastes and additional natural fibre.
