Marshall Ferret Lax® is a great tasting internal lubricant that aids in the prevention and elimination of hairballs in ferrets. Use Marshall Ferret Lax® to help remove unintentionally ingested items that may not pass through their system.
Ferrets, rabbits, chinchillas and other small animals may develop hairballs and/or food impaction of the stomach, conditions that will prevent the normal passage of digested food. Use Marshall Ferret Lax® to help remove items that may not pass through their system.

Ingredients: Malt, molasses, white petrolatum, cod liver oil, wheat germ oil, soy oil, and Vitamin E.

Directions for use:
Symptoms

If your ferret has ribbon-like stools and has a loss of appetite, dry coughs, and gags, these are common symptoms of hairballs or obstructions in a ferrets stomach and/or intestine.

Remedy
Feed Ferret Lax from the tube in the amount of 1/2 to one teaspoon, two to three times a day for three to four days. Thereafter, administer two to three times per week, more often during the spring shedding season to prevent formation of hairballs.
