Power
Easy to use. Just plug in. The pad operates on normal household current 110-120 volt AC. Do not operate on DC current.
Placement
When placing pad in a closed area, the pad should cover no more than 1/2 of the floor space so pet can sleep on or off the heat. The cord is spring wrapped to help protect it from your pet's teeth and claws. The remainder of the cord should be placed out of reach of any animal.
Heating
Allow 30 minutes for the pad to heat. It will feel slightly warm to the touch. Once an animal lies on it, the pad will reach its maximum temperature of approximately 102 degrees Fahrenheit.
Coverings
The pad can be used with a Sleep Sack - Fleece (Marshall Pet) (Sold Separately). If a Marshall Sleep Sack or covering is used, the heat will be less since the coverings will hold heat in.
Cleaning
The surface of pad is washable and may be wiped off when unplugged. Reconnect the cord when pad and plug is completely dry.
