CURRENCY & TAXES
All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars and will be billed in Canadian Dollars.

Flower Town Chinchilla's is a registered Ontario company and we are required to charge taxes on all Canadian orders as per government regulations.

GST/HST
Canadian orders are subject to either the 6% GST or the 14% HST.

HST
Orders shipped to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are subject to the 14% HST.

PST
Flower Town Chinchilla's is required to charge Provincial Sales Tax (PST) to all sales in Ontario ONLY. All sales to other provinces or territories in Canada are exempt.

INTERNATIONAL
Orders are exempt from Canadian taxes. However you may be required to pay taxes, duty etc, implemented by your countries custom regulations. These fees would be collected by your courier at the time of delivery.

PAYMENT
Flower Town Chinchilla's accepts all major credit cards such as Master Card, VISA, AMEX (American Express), Discover, as well as Debit Cards and Bank Transfers. We also accept PayPal payments, postal or bank money orders or certified cheques prior to shipping and of course cash for pickup orders.

Credit card information will be taken only after you have received an emailed invoice with a link to a secured site for accepting your credit card information. We use PayPal to process all credit card purchases; you DO NOT require an account with PayPal to use this service.

Pick Up Orders Wishing To Pay By Credit Card needs to be done from your emailed invoice prior to pick up.

PLEASE NOTE PICKUPS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY; Orders need to be prepared from our nearby storage facility.

SHOPPING CART
You can purchase any item by clicking on the “buy now!” button, which is located in the Select column for the item you are interested in while in the category section as well as at the bottom of the items detailed description page. This will take you to your shopping cart where you will see the product you selected, followed by a box with the number “1” in it and the price. If you wish to change the quantity of the item you are purchasing, change the number in the box to your desired quantity and click on the “RECALCULATE” button located lower down on the page. The price will change to reflect the quantity you are purchasing, if you enter “0” and hit “RECALCULATE” the item will be removed from your shopping cart. If you repeatedly click on the “buy now!” button, for the same item, it will be listed each time you do this as a separate single item repeated on the shopping cart.

To return to Flower Town Chinchilla's Web Store click on the “CONTINUE SHOPPING” button to return to store page you were last on. You can go to your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the “Review Cart” located in the top left corner under the banner on any store page.

Once you have finished selecting the merchandise you wish to purchase, review your order in the shopping cart. Beside the statement "Canadian orders are subject to either GST or HST. PST is applicable to Ontario residents only." is a box, please choose the province or territory you are from, if you are outside Canada, select “No State or Province”, then click on “RECALCULATE”. Your shopping cart will change to reflect any taxes owed for your order.

If you wish to pick up your order, have any special requests, or questions, you can enter them in the box under the before mentioned query. This is also where you should tell us if you wish to pay by money order, certified cheque or cash for pickups. Once you are satisfied that everything on your order is correct, click on the “GO TO PAYMENTS” button, this will take you to a page with a summary of your order. You are required to fill in the forms below.

Enter your billing information, including your telephone number and your email address. All fields in bold are required to be filled in. If your shipping address is the same as your billing you can leave the shipping fields blank. We guarantee that Flower Town Chinchilla will only use your personal information for the purpose of our business together and information will never be sold or given to any other party. The delivery address must contain a physical street name as we cannot deliver to rural route or Post Office Box addresses.

When you submit your order, this will generate an email to Flower Town Chinchilla's that will enable us to calculate your shipping cost. Canadian shipping rates vary based on distance from the seller to the buyer, also every order will vary in both size & weight depending on the combination of items ordered. We do not use programmed shipping calculators which usually have added buffers which increase shipping costs. The postal amount on your package will differ from the amount billed, this is due to taxes, insurance, signatures, fuel sur-charge etc. which are not reflected in the price stamped on your parcel.

At Flower Town Chinchilla's we strive to provide our customers with competitive shipping and packaging costs. At this time we find it best to respond to each customers unique order requests and to use shipping costs that reflect these orders. We will then email you back an Invoice within 24 hours Monday to Friday.

Although we carry inventory for all items listed as available in our web store, occasional stock outages may occur. You will be notified prior to invoicing of any shortage and will be provided with due date or alternatives. Only upon receiving your reply will we generate an invoice. We only invoice for orders that can be shipped immediately following payment. We will hold inventory for 3 business days after invoicing to insure stock availability.

Upon receiving payment, we will ship your order. All paid for shipments are mailed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If shipment is urgently required; we will make a special mail run to accommodate your needs.

If you are paying by money order or certified cheque, your order will not be shipped until your payment has been received. For cash payments of pickup orders, you will be given an invoice at the mutually arranged pickup time.
